Rebecca Price Janney

An Evening with Dr. Rebecca Price Janney

Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 7 pm

Neshaminy-Warwick Presbyterian Church Auditorium
1401 Meetinghouse Road, Warminster, PA 18974

We are excited to be hosting the launch of Dr. Rebecca Price Janney’s latest book, Morning Glory: A Novel of the First Great Awakening. Rebecca will introduce us to two of the main characters – Catherine Harrison, the daughter of a local pastor, and Henry Sharp, a recent graduate of William Tennent’s Log College. She will describe the struggle they face to be together during the turbulent 18th century period in our country’s history known as the First Great Awakening. Rebecca will also discuss her interest in revivals, how this book came about, and the role the Great Awakening had in preparing America for the rigors of the Revolution. After the presentation, refreshments will be served and signed copies of Rebecca’s book will be available for purchase.

We hope to see you there!
