The Miseries of the Revolutionary War

The William Tennent House Association invites you to a presentation featuring the return of Sam Davis as General George Washington. The General will be discussing the “Miseries of the Revolutionary War” on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Neshaminy-Warwick Presbyterian Church located at 1401 Meetinghouse Road, Warminster, PA 18974.

General Washington will share the challenges of daily life during the war and the severe physical and emotional toll it took on him and his men during eight years of struggle to survive with often inadequate supplies, sustenance, and protection from the elements, as well as the horrible and torturous experiences of battle that he and his men had to endure.

Admission is $10 per person ($12 at the door). The online Registration Form can be completed below. Registration can also be made by check payable to William Tennent House Association and mailed to P.O. Box 2572, Warminster, PA 18974 along with your name, contact information and number of seats. Refreshments will be served.

About Sam Davis: After earning Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Sam taught Science for over 35 years. He is the current President of the Morrisville Historical Society. Sam has had a life-long love for the American Revolution and America herself. He has been a Freemason for over 35 years and is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution as well. It is with great pride that he brings George Washington to life.
